Our Review
Apps of today have become so innovative that people have grown vastly dependent on them to do chores and a bunch of other things. Whether it be to order food at 1 am, buy groceries online, book rental cars or taxis, make a reservation for housing accommodations, stream favorite shows and music, there is an app for all that and more.
Apparently, there is also an app that claims to help you find instant and anonymous casual sex partners. If Uber had a baby with Snapchat, Pure is a hookup app that has one simple premise, and that is to deliver dates on demand. Contrary to other existing dating apps, this one does not promise longevity or even actual relationships, for that matter. If you are looking for a life partner, then we'd strongly advise you to search for other dating sites.
First launched in October 2014, Pure has been deemed as strong competition for Tinder since its concept makes finding casual sex partners quicker and easier. The main idea for Pure is about self-destructing profiles that will encourage more instantaneous hookups while maintaining anonymity and discretion.
A user is only given an hour to locate and chat up others before their profile disintegrates. During that one hour, the user sends a "georequest" for casual sex. Under that time limit, you are given potential matches which are near or within your location that you can chat up, get contact details from, and set up a date with. If you want to try Pure again, you'd have to create a whole new profile.
This innovative concept coupled with aesthetically pleasing user interface has made Pure an app to be reckoned with. However, does the dating app deliver its promises and get you actual legit dates or is it just a scammy site underneath all the glamour and prestige? We took a closer look at this app and explored its features, dating possibilities, prices, and more.
