Becoming a member of BeeTalk requires that you are ready to give out your personal mobile number to the app. Because the only way to register is to sign up via mobile number. A verification code would be sent to that number which needs to be keyed in at the prompt of account verification. After successful registration, BeeTalk gives you the option to add registered BeeTalk users from your phone contact list.

Choosing yes automatically adds them to your BeeTalk friend's list, and choosing no would leave you with an empty address book. BeeTalk takes you to your profile dashboard where you can upload your desired profile picture, change your personal BeeTalk ID, and enter in some basic personal details.

BeeTalk has no identity verification so there is a good chance of fake profiles on the app.

BeeTalk only allows free calls and messages between you and your added contacts. You cannot initiate chat messaging to a user who is not part of your friend's list. Although you can send a contact request with a personal message to any user you encounter with. You have the option to enable phone notifications for every message, call, and friend request that you receive.

BeeTalk also has the feature called 'Whisper' in which messages and media sent during Whisper mode are automatically deleted after 1-15 seconds depending on your preference. In the light that you have added a friend who turns out to be abusive or offensive, you can simply unfriend the user by clicking on the ‘Delete friend’ option in the chat options.

BeeTalk also implements 'Flip', a roulette-type feature where users swipe left or right to get matches. The app also offers clubs that users can join in, these clubs are based on location and personal preferences.

User profiles on BeeTalk show very few details about the user’s interests and personality. The profile feed consists of the photo gallery at the topmost, followed by the user’s friend and follower count. If the user has contributed to any thread on the discovery page, it would be displayed on the profile. Short details about zodiac signs, school, work, location, and age can be found below.

BeeTalk also has a status feature that users can change depending on what they want to say. There is not much detail in BeeTalk’s profile, which is why almost all members seem to have dull and incomplete ones.

Since BeeTalk doesn't check for the authenticity of members, fake profiles are a big possibility on the app.
