VietnamCupid offers various search options. You can perform a basic or an advanced search; you also have the option to search for friendship, marriage, pen pal, or someone whom you can have a romantic date with. Aside from that, you can narrow your search by appearance, lifestyle, or background/cultural values.

When you open a user's profile, there are five different options that you can do to interact with the members. Aside from viewing their profile to get more information about them, you can also send a message, show interest, add them to your favorites, or start a chat session.

However, Standard members may not fully enjoy VietnamCupid's messaging feature because they can only send messages to members with a paid membership. You can identify members with a paid membership by the green checkmark icon next to their profile name.

Still, even if messaging is limited and commenting on photos is not free, there are other features that Standard members may use to make the first move in establishing a connection with other members. Such features include showing interest and adding other members to your 'Favorites' list.

Most of the profiles are detailed. They provide useful and interesting information about the users. In a member's profile, you can see whether or not the profile owner is online. Likewise, you can see when the owner was last active.

The profile information of a VietnamCupid's member can be translated into either English or Vietnamese. Some of the personal details that can be seen in a member's profile are his/her employment status, annual income, home type (apartment/flat, condominium, farm, house, or townhouse), living situation (living alone, with family, with friends, with kids, or with a spouse), and English and Vietnamese language ability.

VietnamCupid's members can update his/her profile anytime. However, not all profiles are detailed and informative because it is up to the profile owner as to how detailed his/her profile would be. 

Verified Profiles

You can have your profile get a verified badge when you upload an ID that shows your face and name to the VietnamCupid verification page. This is to verify your identity and will be kept confidential. Verification usually takes 24 to 48 hours. A verified badge will increase your trust score with other members and help you get more messages and flirts.

The existence of fake profiles is possible because random emails can be used to join VietnamCupid. If you ever come across fictitious profiles or abusive members, you may report them by sending an email to team@VietnamCupid.com.
