Signing up only takes a couple of minutes.

First, you have to provide your basic information, such as your email, gender, and birthdate. Once you click the search icon found on the location field, it automatically detects your exact location using its own location tracker. Then you have to provide your first name, password, and mobile number. Make sure to input an active mobile number because it will be used for verification later in the process.

Next, you have to add more personal details about yourself, such as your education, your profession, and your drinking, smoking, and eating habits. Then you have to select your interests from the list provided. 

Once done, you can then upload up to 5 photos of yourself. 

Tip: Select the best ones because all those can be viewed on your profile by your potential matches.

Afterward, you are then asked to describe yourself. Note that this part requires a minimum of 50 characters. You can write anything interesting about yourself.

Lastly, you have to enter the verification code sent to your mobile number. This is one way for the site to ensure the registered members' authenticity.

The name QuackQuack was derived from the fact that the calling of every bird species in the world is unique and can only be understood by another bird of the same species. Similarly, the site promises its members that their search for a partner with a unique set of attributes will be answered by another person searching exactly the same.

So its algorithm works by matching people with similar interests. 

Once you are done signing up, you will be automatically directed to the "Matches" page, which shows all your potential matches. You can browse through a potential match's profile and even view his or her photos for free. If you're interested to know more about him or her, just click "Like." If he or she likes you too, then it's a match.

You can also simply send a direct message to a potential match. However, sending and receiving messages are only available to paid members, which means there is no way for you to contact anyone if you didn't avail of a subscription.

And if you're not sure how to start the conversation, a set of predefined one-liners is provided to help you break the ice. 

You can also request access to a member's contact number. Once he or she approves, you will be able to see the contact number displayed on his or her profile.

And if you don't have much time to log in to the site, you may let the machine send likes to your desired matches every day.

All the information provided during the signing-up process can be seen on your profile. But if you're a paid member, you have the option to hide your age, location, education, and profession.

Note that you may change any information on your profile except your email address, username, phone number, date of birth, and gender.

Since most members either skipped the "About Me" section or wrote only a little information about themselves, profiles are not that detailed. But it wouldn't be a problem to those who value someone's physical appearance more. Browsing through a member's uploaded photos can be done for free. 

All profiles undergo a verification process. This is to ensure every member's safety.

There are only a few fake profiles on the site since members may report any suspicious account, and the moderators will then take care of the matter.
