Our Review
In the effort to create an environment where Latinos can connect and share their commonalities, Chispa, a dating app made specifically for people of Spanish descent, is made. It borrows the swiping feature of other popular apps of today for ease of use and greater chances of finding a match.
Of the 57 million Latinos in the US alone, 13 million are single. This prompted Match Group (MTCH) and Univision Communications, Inc., (UCI) to develop an app that specifically addresses the large chunk of Latino population that is not in a relationship.
Chispa's premise is very simple. Relying heavily on visuals, a person can swipe right if he or she finds a person that interests him or her and swipe left if it is otherwise. Once the person you've liked has liked you back, then that is what you may consider as a match.
Sound simple enough, but is this app all that is cracked up to be? Is it possible to find good matches and actually deliver in real life? That's what we are here to find out. To know the real scoop about Chispa, read on our review below!
