The registration process of Cheekd is very quick and easy. It is not strict at all. Finish the process in less than five minutes if you'll do it without interruption.

You have two options on how you can sign-up. The first is using your Facebook account, and the second is using your mobile number. 

When you use your Facebook account to sign-up, the needed information will be accessed from your public profile. You should allow Cheekd to access your account to complete your registration. When you use your mobile number, you will need to manually enter some information like your first name, birth date, email address, and gender. Next is you have to upload at least one profile photo. You can add up to 10 photos to your profile.

After providing the required information, enable your location services so you will not miss a connection. You also have to give the app access to your Bluetooth connection. It will allow other members to know if you are nearby. Although it is optional, you may also turn on your notification for the app.

After registration, you will be redirected to the "Nearby" page. This page lets you see the members who are in a 30 feet radius around you. It's not typical to see a lot of members listed there especially if you have strict parameters. To see more members, you can adjust your settings. To make it function well, a Bluetooth connection is required and the good thing is, you don't need an internet connection to find other members.

A chatting feature is available in Cheekd. However, you can only start chatting once both of you liked each other.

You can stop another member from chatting with you or viewing your profile if they make you feel uncomfortable by blocking them.
