I just said, “Screw it,” one night and installed More than One. I have always been intrigued with polyamory. I am glad I found a boyfriend who supports it. The app looks good and promising. However, the experience isn’t as spectacular as I would have imagined. I haven’t spoken to a real person on here and most of the profiles I’ve come across do not have any photos. Oh well, back to the old drawing board, I guess.

Our only gripe on this app is its unavailability in most countries. It is only available for download on some. If you aren’t from the United States and other countries, you won’t be able to install this app.

A polyamorous relationship is one that can be described as a consensual non-monogamous relationship. More Than One designed to help people open to polyamory meet. The operative word is "consensual", consensual by all involved. That's also to say this is not an "affairs" or "cheating" website/app.
How does More Than One match members?
The app matches its members based on location and dating preferences. The app also incorporates customizable search filters so members can see more profiles relative to their preferences.
How do I know the people on More Than One are real?
They are really aggressive about deleting any profile they deem to be fake. Unlike some other dating apps and sites with millions of profiles (some of which are obviously fake), they don't use fake profiles to inflate their membership numbers or to entice people to join. You can be reasonably confident the profiles on More Than One are from real people.

How can I send a message to another member on More Than One?
A profile can be set to require a like before accepting messages or to allow messages from anyone. When you see the mail icon on a profile it means you can send this person a message. Click it and type away. When you don't see the mail icon but see the heart/like icon, it means this profile requires a like to send messages and either you've not sent one or your request hasn't been accepted.
Why do I have to like someone first on More Than One?
This is to avoid spam and unwelcome messages. With a free app, the motivations of people joining are not always good or serious. Requiring you to accept someone's like before they can send you a message gives you an opportunity to assess if you want to communicate with someone before they decide to bombard your phone and inbox with messages.
Why can't I send messages to some profiles?
If there is no message button in a profile, it means you have to like the person before you can send a message. If your like is accepted, then you can send a message. You have the option to require a like before someone can message you. It allows you to keep the spam to a minimum.
What is a private profile?
A private profile is one that can't be accessed or found by searching unless the owner of the private profile makes contact first. It's an option for those that require a certain level of discretion.
How do I delete my account?
Click the profile icon with the gear on the toolbar, scroll down to the very bottom of the page until you see the red "Delete Account" button. Click it to delete your account.
Why do I have to post three photos on my profile?
More pictures of you in more than one setting gives others members more opportunity to see the full you. More Than One app encourages its members to post more photos to avoid being tagged as fakes or bots.
How will I know when my like request is accepted?
You'll receive a notification from the app or an email when your like request has been accepted. Take note, you can only message a profile once like requests are accepted.
