Do I need a Facebook account to use Hitch?

Yes, you need a Facebook account to register to Hitch. The app only has one registration process and that is through Facebook.

Does Hitch app post to Facebook?

Like most apps, Hitch connects to your Facebook profile to understand your background, dating preferences and your interests. It will import your profile pics from Facebook as well, but it does not post back to Facebook on your profile or newsfeed, nor appear to your Facebook friends.

Will someone know if I don't want to chat with them?

No, Hitch only reveals those who want to meet or chat with each other but only if both people have mutual interests.

How to use location check-in?

Go to Settings under Check-In. You will have your choice of Nearby Places of which location you would like to appear on your Check-in page. The check-in list of options is within only 500 meters from your mobile. Once you update your settings, you may Check in to a location on the list to find other singles that are in the same location as you.

Can I add new locations?

Yes, you can create new location points for you and any other singles to Check-in. By using Google Map you can add a new location for it to populate in Hitch Dating App. First, check to see if your location is already on the list. If not, on the top. Search your location then check-in. If it is not on the list then Google Map does not have it within their directory listing.

How to send a message on Hitch?

Only premium members can send messages on Hitch.

Block people that you no longer want to see or communicate with by going into their profiles and selecting 'block'.

Hitch app is a less well known dating app and as we have indicated that there may be fake user profiles on the app, we would recommend acting cautiously.
