Signing up for Hily is east. It would take you not more than ten minutes to complete the registration process. There are three options on how you can start. You can use your Facebook account, phone number or Snapchat account to open a Hily account. You'll get a verification message then you may proceed to fill out additional information. 

For the gender, you can choose from male, female or binary. Then, type in your first name, birthday, educational level, and field of work. You will be asked to the app access to your location since matching is also based on the proximity. You can upload photos right away, but you can skip it and proceed to the next steps.

The set of questions here is more of secondary information. Choose what kind of relationship you are looking for. You may choose from the given options by clicking on your answers. The app also features zodiac compatibility so it will help if you will declare if you believe on it too. Other questions involve your intentions about video chatting, the age range of your date, and the radius in miles for the distance filters.

Then you will be redirected to the homepage of the app.

Hily has a chat feature for direct communication with other members. However, if you want to break the ice, or get matched before chatting, you can send a like first to the member from the swipe list. You can use features but limited with free membership, but a premium membership can let you send unlimited likes, reverse (in case you made a mistake swiping down a member), share stories and live videos where other people can comment.

You can also do basic and advanced searching. Location is very important to make it work better, so it is advised that you turn on your location services so you'll find or others will find you easier when you're just around the area.

The profile quality of Hily members is okay. You'll find enough information to start a conversation. Some information that you will find is the name, online status, membership status, all the information that you have declared during registration, and verifications that you have completed. Others include additional information like interests/hobbies.

On the profile, you can find compatibility results in case both of you started answered compatibility questions, or both of you believe in zodiacs.

Icons for sending a chat, mute member, and block or report are also in the profile page.

At the top of a member's profile, you will find a photo. All of the photos are said to be screened and need to follow the following rules:

• Face should be clear, visible and not distorted
• Do not upload photos that you do not own, or doesn't show your face
• Explicit contents such as nudity, violence, drugs, or offensive messages will not be accepted.

All the premium packages offer the same kind of features. However, it varies on how many of each feature you will be allowed to have per day.

One week: You will have the option to use this package for free in the first week. The succeeding weeks will be charged accordingly. You can enjoy unlimited likes, 2 unblurs per day, 2 chat request per day, 2 compatibility checks per day, and 2 rollbacks per day just in case you made a mistake. All these features are worth USD560.00.

Three months and One year: You can enjoy unlimited likes, 25 unblurs per day, 25 chat request per day, 25 compatibility checks per day, and 25 rollbacks per day just in case you made a mistake. All these features are worth USD7,200 and USD28,800 for the three month and one-year packages respectively.

There are five options on how you can pay for premium. The first one is to use a credit/debit card. You can also use a Paysafe Card, a PayPal account, redeem a code, or through the app store on your phone. Membership is set by default to be recurring but you can edit it anytime on your app's settings.
